I tried to make a clever reference to The Beatles' song "Norwegian Wood" which is subtitled with "This Bird Has Flown." Did it work? Did ya get it?
Our 2005 Ford Escape was barged to Anchorage from Seattle. It wasthen put on a cargo plane and flown to Nome, Alaska. We didn't want to wait until the spring. The Bering Sea freezes and you cannot get barges into Nome until the thaw. It actually cost only a little bit more.
I just find it kind of fascinating that my car has flown on a plane. Not many do.
