Warm here today in Nome. Yesterday, the temperature program said it got up to 70. Right now it says 60. Bright sunshine. Oh, and the mosquitos love it. The other night when we tried to light off some firecrackers, we got chased off by some of the big mosquitos. We don't have a whole lot of birds here so I wonder what preys upon them. Anyway, the cruise ship is here in Nome. We drove by it the other day to take a picture. Most times, this boat also makes a stop in Russia but I think that they were having difficulties getting that this year so no Russia. This brings a lot of tourism dollars into Nome because these are some rich people most times. It is one heck of an expensive Alaskan cruise to come up to Nome.
