I have sampled the rare taste of musk ox today.Krista Marvin, one of the other language arts teachers whose kids are also babysat by Becca Callahan across the hall, was able to cut me a piece of her husband's freshly killed musk ox. It had never been frozen so I got a fresh taste.
It tasted a little tough but it was flavorful and not gamey. It was like a big piece of steak actually.
