Shadowhawk #1. Image Comics from 1991. In the age of the covers. Publishers did anything to make the cover so splashy that they forgot about the comic inside! Why the comics industry fell for Image Comics, I'll never know. Some artists do not automatically make good writers. They are rare. Image Comics was all flash and no substance. But I fell for it too. I bought Shadowhawk, Savage Dragon, Spawn, and one called Wildstar. Cover's good but the rest is terrible.
